BSSC CGL Exam Pattern

BSSC CGL Prelims Exam Pattern
An objective-formatted qualifying test, the BSSC CGL Prelims.

The BSSC CGL main test is only open to candidates who pass the BSSC CGL preliminary exam.
The preliminary exam consists of three sessions with 50 questions each.

BSSC CGL Mains Exam Pattern
- The exam is held in form of 2 papers.
- Each paper is for 2 hours and 15 minutes.
- Paper 1 is a language paper (Hindi language) having 100 questions for a total of 400 marks.
- There are minimum qualifying marks of 30% in paper 1, Only those candidates who are able to secure 30 % marks will be considered for paper 2.
- There will be 3 sections in BSSC CGL Mains Paper-2 of the main exam. The pattern and syllabus for paper-2 are similar to that of the preliminary exam.
