NORCET Paper Pattern & Examination Scheme
- The NORCET test duration will be 3 hours.
- A computer-based test will be conducted by AIIMS.
- The exam will consist of 200 total questions & all questions have four options.
- The paper will be divided into two sections the first section will contain 20 MCQs of General Knowledge and in the second section, 180 subject-related questions will be given by the exam authority.
- Each correct question is for one mark and there will be a negative marking in the exam and 1/3rd mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Nursing Officer Selection Process
The staff nurse will be selected on the basis of the written examination score. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of candidates in the CBT examination. The qualified candidates will be invited for the allocation of seats in various institutes of AIIMS. Applicants are advised to fill in only those choices where they will join, if aspirants will fail to join then their candidature will be cancelled for that NORCET. As per the official notification, the NORCET merit list is valid for 6 months from the declaration of the result or declaration of the next NORCET merit list.
